Well I have moved on to a new and exciting phase in my photography career. I got a website!!!. If you would of asked me a year ago that I would be taking my little hobby to this level I would of most likely said haha I doubt it. But God has chosen to bless me with wonderful clients and more that are coming. And as if raising twins (and my husband hehe ) and Two Peas in a Pod wasn't enough why not do weddings AND monthly theme sessions ( the newest addition to Two Peas!!) So with a bitter sweet I am saying good bye to my first blog where my little journey in discovering my love for capturing spacial moments through a lens. I would like to give a specail thanks to my children for being so cute that I had to take their picture every day of their life, My friend Christian and her darling little boy Uriah for being my first "clients " and for my friend and partner with www.tenderlookphotography.com Joanna, she has been the greatest help in not only teaching me in how to use my camera and challenging me to do what ever it takes to get that perfect shot . To better editing skills to learning more about the world of the internet. She is such a talented person and if you ever want to get better at what you are doing!! Get around someone who really knows what they are doing and has experience and is GREAT!! They help you and challenge you to be better. Also on top of getting wedding and such she has joined me in my Monthly Themed Session. We both have creative minds and when we get together there is no stopping us we get out of control with our inspirations and ideas. Thats one of the many reasons why we make a great team :) So with that said I am so proud to announce the launching of my website designed by JOANNA again I tell you she is SUPERWOMEN she is helping her husband with the webdesign business www.patmosproject.com They did such an amazing job and it turned out to what I had in my mind and then some! My dear brother asked me to take a few pictures for him to put on his business cards. I know personally that he is Mr. Perfectionist and does the job right. He has been like that his whole life!! haha I shoved the clothes under the bed and into the closet floor and he put them away nicely in the closet and color coded it while he was at it!! He's just so handsome I had to put a few up!

1 years old!!!

Hard to believe that a year has gone by since the adorable Uriah Ethan was born. It's been such a joy to watch him grow and capture his first year!! His mother Christian is so special to me. One of the first to believe in me and encourage me to start my photography in the first place . Uriah was my "first" client (hehe) I love them both so much and am looking forward to always being Uriah's photographer and of course all of (what is it 10 children ??) So... I brought my kids with me to this session. Melissa said they would be just fine in the playroom. And she was right :) Although I think Markus liked Tony ( the cool Dad ) more than all the toys. I didn't see or hear my daughter who was in her pure delight playing. The Tosca family was so nice as always and very welcoming to me and my kids. I think Markus fell in love with Bella and randomly calls her name throughout the day. Perhaps it was the cute tutu and pearls she was dancing in. Thank you Bella and Judah for sharing your playroom with my kids they had a blast!

Guns and Roses

Fun Fun Fun is what I had with this Brother and Sister. I have always enjoyed being around Chris and Emily. It's been a long time since we have got to hang like before I got married. It was nice to take a step back in time and act like a young thing it's so easy to do when you are around these fun siblings so full of personality! Emily just graduated and Chris is in collage. I know God has such wonderful things in store for them! I love love how this session turned out. They where like pros :)

And yes Chris showed up sporting his gun...........At first I was like hummmmm? But we had fun with it and glad he did hehe it is so him.....

I just think Emily is sooooo beautiful I loved taking her picture! There is such a sweetness about her that is really sincere....

A special friend who I have had through all walks of life. From the time she held me when I was born, to the girly sleepovers ( that we sprayed whipping cream all over her face while she was sleeping hehe) from the time she tried to teach me to drive standard. (I think I killed her car). There has never been a time that my dearest Joy has not been in my life. It's her sweet, joyous spirit, sincere hugs and catchy smile that makes everyones want to be around her and can't help but love her truly. She is a wonderful Sunday school teacher and serves the body of Christ with all that is in her heart and I know she would do anything for anyone. So it was a honor to be able to serve her for once :) I honestly say I have seen Joy in all seasons of life. She is a woman who has aged with grace and with beauty and has grown more in love with the Lord with each passing day and her life shows it. I love you Auntie Joy Joy!!!

How interesting it was to take a photographers pictures!! I was so nerves I have know idea why? She's my picture taking buddy!! This session was for our profile pictures for our wedding web site. I must say she was a much better project then I ....who was awkward and lame. haha I will try to be more understanding from now on for my clients. It was a very insightful experience for me. Life on the Ranch

Life at the Sheppard Ranch

Lets see there is the birds that are always nesting on the door and fly into the house, the cat who no one loves but me and hunts lizards instead mice, the stud horse "Handsome" and all his lovely ladies, and a few strays making a total of 14 horses. But the boss of the bunch is Sugar Babe (my horse) of course I always get the problem child...Pablo the ranch hand who my Mother would adopt if he was young enough. Don't forget the coyotes that jump the fence and come to the door, rabbits, little quails, rattle snakes that almost got my Mom if it weren't for the cat that no one likes, and lots of BUGS!! The wagon and pool gets used all the time and dessert that is always baking because there are friends and family always around. And who would guess this ranch is smack dab in town :)

I love going to my parents.......There is NEVER a boring moment :)

P.S this post is for Kayla P. she wanted me to post some of horses. *Yeehaw*

Two Peas in a Pod!!

Awww it's my babies 17 months old.....It's a bitter sweet to me to have my babies growing up so fast. I'm just loving this stage, they have so much personality and I just love how the world is so new and exciting to them. It makes the small things seem fresh to me. I love my kids with all my heart and am so happy that my Mother helped me with this session. All those smiles are for her :)

It's just simply refreshing to me to see that (even though its been like 6 years since I took these picture .) That Lukas and Rachel can still be the same goofy, creative, spontaneous and completely in love couple that made them so special in the beginning of there relationship!!. After my FUN photo session with my dear, dear friends who I love so much, It is so clear to me that they have kept the spark alive and have fallen more in love with each other threw the years and 3 years of marriage. I feel so blessed to have them as my friends and am thankful for the example of there marriage. Why running with balloons??? LOL They go running every day together so it was the only thing I could come up with to express there "fun" activity. And they did with grace...Such good sports.. Wonderfully Made!!!!

Yeah she is here!!! I'm such a proud Auntie of this most precious little princess. She is so special to me and am looking so forward to our little relationship. The first set of pictures is at the hospital and then the rest is when she is one week old. Miss Plump to perfection (as my friend Joanna put it) I love her so much and I think I smiled the whole time I edited her pictures. I have got to say my friend Steph makes some of the most cutest kids ever.

I love meeting new people and getting a peek at there lives :) Everyone has there story that makes them who they are. Sean and Katie got married in the courts. SO no wedding pictures no engagement pictures. So they had never done anything like this before . So I tried to make the session as special as possible.... Katie was a beaming mother to be and so proud of her belly! I really enjoyed seeing the love that they share for each other the excitement they have for there little bundle of joy that is on its way....

I got the privilege of taking my dear, kindred, friend Elizabeth's little baby's 3 month old pictures. You would of never known that she had been up all night with her oldest child who was not feeling well. She was a beautiful ,beaming, proud Mommy of her newest little love gift from God. The Twins from Who-ville

Well my guess is eyelashes run in the family.......Mr Uriah (from a few session back) has cousins who have the amazing eyelashes as well!! Although these sisters ( Adelyn and Adelina ) seem to take eyelashes to a whole new level. The minuet I saw them I thought they came out of a Dr Seuss book. So adorable I couldn't stand it! Batters up!! Tim & Gabby got married!!

Being a bride once myself.....The thought crosses your mind why did we not elope??? But, the morning of your wedding a miracle happens. You don't care about the if there is going to be enough food or if your hair goes bad...or if it's raining outside ... All the stress, planning, and the "first fight" is worth while ..you get to marry the LOVE of you life :) The day of the wedding was very busy for me, between two sick babies, doing the flowers for the wedding ,to taking Gabby's getting ready photo's......sigh..... There wedding was special and I was so happy be apart of the blessed occasion. In the end it's worth the pictures to help you remember your special day and what is was to be in love, free with out bills, crying babies and a sink full of dirty dishes :)

computer I got all choked up I love it, love it, love it!! It could be the fact that it has a very special meaning to me since I love all 3 in this session so much :) My dearest, best est friend Stephanie is expecting her second child, which of course being the good friend she is...... let me take her maternity pictures.

This one is my favorite of Steph....She looks so amazing in all of them but there is just something about this one that grabs my heart. I didn't even edit it I just left it alone...........

A morning with the Benson family

My morning started of with a "bang" with this energetic little girl Elaina.. With a promise that I would play hide and go seek with her she made the perfect model. And had a blast and am looking forward to having my children be the fun age of 4!

I was really happy to get this shot with baby Lylah eyes open! Big Sis was being so sweet to her.. I loved it.

Even though baby is crying. it makes a sweet photo.

Roxanne is just one of those people that you want to give a hug right away! And I felt I knew her right away :) I enjoyed her creativity and thought she was a sweet Mommy........

What a joy Stephanie and Melissa (twins) where to be with! I truly enjoyed there spunk, beauty, giggles and above all there love and friendship they share as sisters. I found there motivation inspiring. While going to high school they manage some jobs and are going to collage. It is rare theses days to meet a pair of nice teenagers and I found it very refreshing . We had a lot of fun doing there Vogue photo shoot :) ,it was filled with lots of laughter. . . . . .

It is so sad how fast time fly by these days........ It feels just like yesterday I was taking Uriah's 3 month old photos. But, now he is getting to be a big boy, sitting up, cutting teeth and rolling over!
